BCR's CDP — Collaboration and Outreach Services

Menu

BCR’s CDP helps museums, libraries and cultural heritage institutions keep pace with changes in digital and archived information. We provide support to institutions and collaborative organizations that are embarking on collaborative projects; providing access to primary source materials for teachers, academics and anyone interested in learning more about our collective history.

Originally established as the Colorado Digitization Project in 1999, the CDP later evolved into the Collaborative Digitization Program, earning national recognition for its collaborative digitization expertise. The CDP merged into BCR in April 2007, creating BCR’s CDP. BCR’s CDP now provides new service programs in the areas of digitization and preservation, reaching out to cultural heritage organizations everywhere.

Links to other ongoing collaborative digitization projects focused on cultural heritage materials and articles, and documents about specific projects are available on the Collaborative Digitization Programs in the United States webpage.
